Are You a Qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Looking for Flexible Work Across Bradford?

Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work on a supply basis across a range of primary schools in Bradford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HLTA who enjoys variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility, including whole-class cover, while making a positive impact on pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing.

Role Details – Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Bradford

Salary: £110–£130 per day

Contract Type: Long-term, short-term, and daily supply

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

* As a valued member of the school team, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering planned lessons and covering classes in the absence of the class teacher
* Providing high-quality classroom support across KS1 and KS2
* Leading targeted interventions for individuals and small groups
* Supporting lesson planning, preparation, and assessment
* Promoting positive behaviour and pupil engagement
* Supporting pupils with additional needs to ensure an inclusive learning environment
* Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

* HLTA status or equivalent qualification – essential
* Proven experience working across primary year groups
* Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
* Confidence leading whole-class learning
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
* A positive, proactive, and professional approach
