Academics is delighted to be supporting a welcoming and supportive primary school in Bebington to recruit a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 SEND Base team. What You’ll Do
As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will:
✨ Work closely with pupils in the SEND Base, providing tailored support to meet diverse learning and developmental needs
✨ Assist in delivering engaging learning activities and interventions
✨ Support behaviour, independence and emotional development as part of a calm, trauma-informed approach
✨ Collaborate with teachers and the wider support team to create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment

✔ Have experience supporting pupils with special educational needs
✔ Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team
✔ Have high expectations for children’s progress, behaviour and wellbeing
✔ Are patient, adaptable and dedicated to fostering positive outcomes for every child
✔ Are committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare (Enhanced DBS required)
