If you’re a qualified SEND Teaching Assistant with experience in various aspects of SEND, this is a role where that experience is genuinely needed.
Academics is working with Ellesmere Port and Chester schools and specialist provisions seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant who are confident supporting pupils with:
* Autism (ASC)
* ADHD
* SEMH
* Speech, language and communication needs
The role:
✔ 1:1 and small-group SEND support
✔ Implementing EHCP strategies
✔ Supporting emotional regulation and engagement
✔ Working closely with teachers and SENCOs
You’ll be trusted to do the job properly — not “help out where needed”.
We’re looking for:
* Qualified Teaching Assistants (Level 2 or Level 3)
* Proven SEND experience in a school or specialist setting
* Calm, consistent classroom presence
* Confidence adapting support to individual needs
