Academics ltd are working with a school in Swindon who are seeking individuals that are passionate about helping students from a range of different backgrounds engage with learning. We are looking for individuals who can provide support on a 1:1 basis to students.
This is an excellent platform for aspiring educational psychologists to gain experience working with children with complex needs.
Graduate SEN Teaching assistant main responsibilities:
* Provide support to students with complex needs
* Be a positive influence for students
* Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and health and safety of students in the classroom
* Build strong, trusting relationships to help pupils feel safe and supported.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience working in a school setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Well organised with good attention to detail
* Ability to keep calm under pressure and manage challenging behaviour
* Clean DBS check
