KS2 Teaching Assistant
Primary School – Wandsworth, London
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only
Salary: £95 to £105 per day (Dependent on Experience)
Academics are currently working with a welcoming, inclusive, and community-driven primary school in Wandsworth that is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The school is committed to creating a positive learning environment where every child is encouraged to succeed, grow, and develop confidence. Key Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons within KS2
• Work with pupils 1:1 or in small groups to reinforce learning and promote progress
• Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of learning materials, and supporting classroom displays
• Provide support for pupils with additional educational needs and help implement tailored strategies
• Promote high standards of safeguarding, behaviour, and pupil welfare
You will be a clear communicator with good literacy and numeracy skills, reliable, organised, and committed to supporting children’s academic and personal development.
