A welcoming and child-focused mainstream primary school in Slough is currently recruiting for a Graduate Classroom Assistant to support classroom learning across Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. This role is perfect for aspiring teachers who are eager to gain hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the National Curriculum.
As a Graduate Classroom Assistant, you will work alongside experienced and passionate teachers to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment. You’ll play an active role in helping pupils reach their full potential by assisting with lesson delivery, supporting small group work, and offering one-to-one guidance when needed. Every day will be different, rewarding, and full of opportunities to make a real difference in a child’s education.
This is an excellent role for recent graduates who are considering a career in teaching or education. While prior experience working with children is desirable, it is not essential. Relevant experience might include tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching, volunteering in schools, or working with children in any educational or care setting. Experience supporting children with SEND, behavioural needs, or learning difficulties would be highly advantageous.
