We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a popular primary school in Berkhamsted. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development.

Start Date: ASAP
The role:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils across different ability levels
* Assist with planning, preparation of learning materials, and classroom organisation
* Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
* Support pupils’ social and emotional development, as well as academic progress
* Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to support pupil achievement
The ideal candidate will:
* Have proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting (essential)
* Be confident supporting phonics, reading, writing, and maths at primary level
* Be proactive, reliable, and able to adapt to the needs of the class and individual pupils
* Show patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for helping children reach their potential
* Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
