Academics are seeking a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 1 class in a friendly primary school in Llantwit Major. This is a full time temporary position and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and supporting their learning and development.
The Role Includes:
• Supporting pupils across KS1 with classroom activities
• Assisting the class teacher with learning tasks and small group work
• Helping pupils stay focused and engaged throughout the school day
• Providing general teaching assistant support where needed
• Working Monday to Friday, starting as soon as possible
Minimum Requirements:
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
• Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting
• Good understanding of primary education and KS1 learning
• A positive, patient and supportive approach
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction from teaching staff
