Pay: £90 – £125 per day (paid via PAYE – no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you
About the Role
As an HLTA, you’ll play an important role supporting teaching and learning across the classroom. You’ll deliver engaging activities, work with groups of pupils, and step in to lead full classes when needed.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a degree or Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification who is confident managing the classroom and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-planned lessons and interventions under teacher guidance.
* Lead classes and small group sessions independently when required.
* Support teachers with planning, preparation, and assessment.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
* Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
Candidate Requirements
✔ Degree or Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).
✔ Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
✔ Excellent communication and organisation skills.
✔ Confidence leading lessons and supporting pupil development.
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).
