Academics are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools in Chester and the surrounding areas.
✨ The Role:
As Teaching Assistants, you will support teachers and pupils to create a positive, inclusive learning environment. Your responsibilities may include:
* Providing one-to-one or small group support to pupils
* Assisting the class teacher with lessons, activities, and classroom management
* Supporting pupils with additional learning needs or behavioural challenges
* Encouraging positive engagement and helping to build confidence in learners
* Preparing learning materials and helping with assessments
✅ Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
* A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) – extremely desirable but not essential
* A proactive and flexible approach
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Academics)
