A supportive and welcoming primary school in Aylesbury is looking to appoint a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team from November 2025. This full-time, long-term role involves working 1:1 with a Year 2 pupil who presents with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The school is seeking a resilient, proactive, and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting children with behavioural challenges and who is eager to develop their career in the field of Special Educational Needs.
The Role:
* Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant
* Location: Aylesbury
* Start Date: November 2025
* Contract: Full-time, Long-term
* Focus: 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with SEMH needs
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Inclusion Manager
* Training: Access to CPD and professional development opportunities
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant (preferably with SEMH)
* Strong interpersonal and behaviour management skills
