The Role – KS1 Teaching Assistant

As a KS1 Teaching Assistant working through Academics, you will:

* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons tailored to young learners.
* Work with individuals and small groups to develop early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
* Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Encourage positive behaviour and active participation in class activities.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff to help each child reach their full potential.

About You

To be considered for this KS1 Teaching Assistant position, you should have:

* Experience supporting children in Key Stage 1 or an early years/primary school setting (preferred but not essential).
* A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and helping them learn and grow.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A patient, caring, and proactive attitude.
* A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (preferred but not essential).
