We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, confident, and reliable individuals to work as Cover Supervisors in a range of local secondary schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain first-hand school experience before pursuing a PGCE or similar teaching qualification.
Ideally, you will hold a degree or equivalent qualification but all applications will be considered.
A fully enhanced DBS will be required.
The Role Includes:
* Leading the classroom in the teacher’s absence
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons
* Maintaining classroom engagement and behaviour
* Managing handover and reporting back to the regular teacher
* No marking or planning required
Ideal for Candidates with Experience in:
* Sports coaching
* Youth work
* Drama, Art, or Music workshops
* Summer camps or holiday clubs
* Scouts/Guides/Cubs/Brownies
* Outdoor activity instruction / Duke of Edinburgh Award
* Any experience working with young people (minimum 2 months)
