The Role – Year 6 Teacher
As a Year 6 Teacher working through Academics, you will:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the Year 6 curriculum.
* Prepare pupils effectively for KS2 SATs, ensuring strong progress in reading, writing, and maths.
* Implement robust assessment strategies to monitor attainment and progress.
* Create a supportive, engaging classroom environment that motivates pupils to achieve their full potential.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, SLT, and parents to secure the best outcomes for all learners.
About You
To be considered for this Year 6 Teacher position, you must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
* Recent experience teaching Year 6, with a strong understanding of KS2 SATs preparation.
* A commitment to raising attainment and closing gaps in learning.
* Excellent subject knowledge, classroom management, and communication skills.
