A Tower Hamlets secondary school are looking for Graduates who have aspirations to one day become secondary school teachers to work as teaching assistants from September. This is a full time teaching assistant role – Monday – Friday and the idea role for a Graduate who is considering a career in teaching and is looking for the opportunity to gain vital hands on school based experience.
As a teaching assistant you will be working under the guidance of experienced teachers and you will be based in the schools renowned learning support department. You will work 1:1 and in class with students of all abilities from year 7 – year11.
The school are looking for graduates who have some form of recent paid or voluntary experience and an interest in secondary teaching. You may have gained this experience a number of ways such as tutoring, youth work, voluntary school work, sports coaching, overseas teaching….
The school is based in the heart of East London in Tower Hamlets and is the ideal environment for graduates embarking on their career in teaching.
