We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Aspiring Prison Officer Teaching Assistant in Camberley to join a supportive and dynamic team at a well-established school. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children with varying needs and will work closely with teaching staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment in a friendly school in Camberley.

Key Responsibilities of an Aspiring Prison Officer Teaching Assistant:

* Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs and complex behaviour in Camberley.
* Assist with education and training and the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
* Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and fostering independence.
* Help to create and maintain a safe, engaging, and positive classroom environment.
* Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support student progress.
* Monitor and track students’ progress, contributing to assessments and reviews.

Key Requirements of an Aspiring Prison Officer Teaching Assistant:

* Previous experience working with children, preferably in a SEN setting.
* A passion for supporting children with additional learning needs, including autism, dyslexia, and physical disabilities.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to challenging situations.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
* A relevant qualification in education or SEN (such as an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is desirable but not essential.
* A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
