Your Role as an HLTA:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support teachers by delivering pre-planned lessons and activities
* Lead small groups and individual interventions to help students achieve their potential
* Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring all students are supported
* Work with students who have special educational needs (SEN)and adapt learning plans accordingly
* Take responsibility for managing behaviour in the classroom and creating a positive learning environment
* Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and help with assessments
HLTA Teaching Assistant – Thanet Area
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 5 CACHE qualificationor above, or extensive experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
* Proven experience in a school environment, ideally across primary and/or secondary settings
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students
* A passion for education and helping young people succeed
* Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable
