Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools in Doncaster – ASAP Start
Are you a recent graduate with a degree or looking to gain experience in secondary education? Academics has an exciting opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join our team and work in secondary schools across Doncaster. This is a supply contract starting ASAP.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will ensure students stay engaged with pre-set work and help maintain a positive learning environment during teacher absence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher.
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons and assist students in completing tasks.
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students follow the school's policies.
* Provide support to students who need extra help.
* Report any issues or concerns to school staff.
Key Requirements:
* Degree (any subject).
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to manage student behaviour effectively.
* Positive, proactive attitude toward student learning.
* Flexibility to adapt to different subjects and school environments.
* Experience in a school setting (desirable but not essential).
Pay and Benefits:
* £100 - £130 per day depending on experience.
* PAYE payments – 100% of your daily rate.
