Key Responsibilities of a SEN Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs (SEN).
* Work closely with the SENCO and other staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Support and monitor the progress of SEN pupils, ensuring they are fully integrated into the school community.
* Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies to support students' learning and well-being.
* Contribute to the wider school community, promoting inclusion and a positive learning environment for all.
Key Requirements of a SEN Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in working with children with SEN.
* A deep understanding of a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
* Patience, creativity, and resilience, with a passion for helping every child succeed.
