About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Brighton. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping them understand and engage with the curriculum.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring all students feel valued and supported.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe and orderly environment.
* Support students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) as required.
* Participate in school meetings, events, and training sessions to further your professional development.
* Prepare learning materials and resources under the guidance of the teacher.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in a school setting is highly desirable.
* A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
