The Catholic Partnership Supply Service (CPSS) are looking to appoint a dedicated teaching assistant in the Northfield area to start September, working Full time 8.30-3.30pm
The job is a role requires you to work closely with SENCO and KS2 team to offer tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs. You must have prior experience of supporting primary age children with additional needs and have experience the year 5 and the key stage 2 curriculum.
The successful teaching Assistant will be working are part of a team who support a group of SEND pupils in a dedicated part if the school. You will need to be flexible as staff also work with children from other year groups. Your role will be working in the classroom and also supervising pupils with short breaks away from the classroom, allowing them to focus on other activities. You must also be comfortable supporting with personal care when required

Qualifications we will consider:
Teaching assistant related (level 2+)
University graduates
Childcare related (level 2+)
Health and social care related (with either school experience or basic knowledge of phonics)
Unqualified teaching assistants with classroom experience
