Nursery Assistants needed - Lichfield

Academics have been contacted by an outstanding nursery and pre-school based in Lichfield to help appoint 2 nursery assistants on a full time basis for immediate starts. These roles will last for a minimum of 3 months and could be then extended for the right candidates.

The nursery itself is highly recognised and strives to nurture each child’s unique potential by creating a positive working environment that fosters professionalism, growth and diversity.

The role will be full time and the nursery can be a little flexible on hours from the following 7.30am-5pm / 8.30-6pm. You will ideally hold a recognised Level 3 qualification but the nursery will also consider applicants with suitable Level 2 qualifications.

You will possess excellent communications skills, Have good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, be flexible and adaptable as you will be working with ages 0-5years so each day can be varied.

Your nursery assistant duties will include

* Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all children to develop and meets their individual needs
* Make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests and stages of development of the child by supporting the delivery of the key person approach
* Ensuring an enabling environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children in both the indoor and outdoor area as a continuous provision
* Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children in line with our child protection and keeping everyone safe policies and procedures
* Ensure internal policies and procedures are adhered whilst also meeting the external legislation and guidelines from our governing bodies
* Continually work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children ensuring a diverse and inclusive approach is maintained at all times.
