Meet the Cardiff Team
Academics have been helping qualified Primary Teachers find suitable teaching jobs throughout the UK for over 15 years. From our Cardiff office, we work directly with Primary schools in Cardiff, The Vale of Glamorgan, Caerphilly, Newport, Monmouthshire and we’re confident that we can help you find your perfect teaching job, whether that’s a permanent teaching post, a long term contract, or even day to day supply teaching work.
All our Primary Teacher jobs in Cardiff would suit fully qualified, enthusiastic Primary Teachers who have great teaching practice and really enjoy making a difference to young people. You will need excellent literacy and numeracy skills, and the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with adults and children. Our schools welcome applications from right across the Primary Key Stages including EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 class teachers. Sound curriculum knowledge is essential, plus a “can do” approach and a good sense of humour.
We also work with support staff, so if you’re looking for a Teaching Assistant job in Cardiff or the Vale of Glamorgan, either on day to day supply or long term, get in touch with Sam and the team.
Sam has recently joined Academics and is looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead. Sam spent 3 years in education recruitment as a Primary consultant, looking after all Primary Schools in the South Wales region. Whilst he thoroughly enjoyed building the team, he is now looking forward to managing our Cardiff office and developing a strong team of consultants who will deliver high customer service to schools. In his spare time Sam enjoys sports, especially football, where he coaches Pontypridd Town FC (seniors and U18 teams) and supporting Manchester United. He also enjoy playing tennis, squash and golf and will always end up watching the rugby when he gets the chance... and living in Wales means you have little choice anyway.

In her spare time she loves to holiday, wine & dine whilst spending time with her boyfriend and best friends.
