Meet the Cardiff Teaching Recruitment Team
The Cardiff teacher recruitment office is a new and exciting location for Academics, and is an office already up to speed on school requirements, with candidates registering continuously due to the excellent reputation Academics has across the rest of the country. The Cardiff teaching jobs office will provide short term, long term, and permanent teaching and support staff for nurseries, schools and colleges in the South Wales region. The office basis itself on high levels of customer service and aims to deliver a simple and straightforward process for clients to cover their staffing needs.
Sam has recently joined Academics and is looking forward to the challenge that lies ahead. Sam spent 3 years in teacher recruitment as a Primary consultant, looking after all Primary Schools in the South Wales region. Whilst he thoroughly enjoyed building the team, he is now looking forward to managing our Cardiff office and developing a strong team of consultants who will deliver high customer service to schools. In his spare time Sam enjoys sports, especially football, where he coaches Pontypridd Town FC (seniors and U18 teams) and supporting Manchester United. He also enjoy playing tennis, squash and golf and will always end up watching the rugby when he gets the chance... and living in Wales means you have little choice anyway.
Sophie has worked within the education sector for over 7 years in a variety of roles, and is truly able to relate to staffing issues that schools face. Her experience from teaching for a child development agency to being a school secretary and a support worker has provided Sophie with the ability to understand the timely and efficient service that schools require whilst also ensuring the highest calibre of candidates. Sophie enjoys spending her free time with her family, indulging in retail therapy, and pampering!
