The findings are discussed in detail with both the teacher and the relevant line manager, and are made available to the school. Recruitment OptionsLong-term supply coverThere are generally two types of staffing issue that require a long-term temporary supply teacher:
Once a teacher has worked for 150 working days on a supply basis, the school is able to award the teacher a contract at no further cost. The financial advantages of this package are obvious but it is the added value services of Academics which make it particularly appealing. During the 150 days that the teacher is paid by Academics, they will be encouraged to develop a professional portfolio, including classroom observations conducted by our professional development team. Permanent Vacancies Academics’ consulting team has experience not only in education but in private sector recruitment as well, giving us the professionalism and quality of service that has been lacking in education recruitment for so long. We have extremely competitive standard rates but are also open to discussing individual solutions for permanent placement fees, particularly if you would like to discuss your entire recruitment with leading professionals in the industry.
