School management positions are those within a school where an individual’s responsibility is greater than just classroom teaching.

Traditionally, in schools, Management positions have been split into Curriculum Management and Pastoral Management especially at the SLT (Senior Leadership Team) level. A crude definition is that a school would have an Assistant Headteacher/Deputy Headteacher responsible for Curriculum and an Assistant Headteacher/Deputy Headteacher responsible for Pastoral Care.

Management positions that we recruit for would include Middle Management Positions like Key Stage Coordinators, Subject Coordinators, Subject Leaders and Heads Of Department. Senior Management positions would include Advanced Skills Teachers (ASD), SENCOs, Inclusion Managers, Assistant Headteachers, School Business Managers, Deputy Headteachers and Headteachers. We also recruit for the more pastoral positions of responsibility like, Head of Year, Head of House and Housemaster.
